   This song is timeless! “Black Betty” from Ram Jam is flat out ‘d*mn thing gone wild’ and it’s no wonder it made it onto the Dukes of Hazzard movie as it fits the Hillbilly genre. The guitar work is punchy and the drum beat is just freakin’ hypnotic. I played this song for my kids recently and they loved it the first time they heard it. It’s rare to get them to say, “Dad, could you replay that song, please?” Typically they don’t like their dad’s OLD MUSIC! But as I said, Ram Jam’s “Black Betty” is a hard hitting, foot thumping tune that just gets your juices pumpin’.
